Salary: £20,000.00 - £22,438.00 per annum (dependent on experience) + Benefits

About the role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information, Advice and Advocacy Support Officer to join our dedicated HertsHelp contact centre team based in Stevenage to cover Maternity Leave.

You will be supporting a wide range of vulnerable people over the phone or via email, exploring options and taking action as required.

About you:  Ideally you will have worked in, information and advice or similar role before, particularly with a health, social care or voluntary sector background and experience of working with vulnerable adults with sometimes profound and multiple needs.

You will need to have a flexible attitude and must be comfortable handling highly sensitive information, and in seeking support and supervision. Strong communication skills and time management skills will be required and you will need to be computer literate.

A DBS check will be required for this post.
